Privacy policy
Last updated: 5 October 2026
This page explains the data handled by the marketing site, its purpose, and your rights.
Product SaaS data processing depends on your architecture and contract. Review the data flows and the vendor review package before any POC involving personal data.
1. Who we are
The Tamis marketing website (tamis.app) is published by
the business identified in the legal notice (SIREN 988 179 461).
For any privacy questions, write to contact@tamis.app. We reply within one business day (Paris).
2. What we collect on this site
Almost nothing. This site is a static HTML page; we use no third-party analytics tools and no third-party fonts, scripts, or icons, and a single cookie, for our audience measurement (section 5).
Visiting
tamis.app does not send your IP address or user agent to any outside party.
Server logs (operational)
Our hosting provider keeps standard access logs (timestamp, IP address, requested URL, user agent, referrer) for no more than 30 days, used only for security and incident response on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6§1.f GDPR).
They are not used for audience analytics, profiling, or marketing.
Contact form
The homepage form sends your request to us by email from our hosting: your business email, your company and your team size if you enter them, your message and, if you came from a role page, the name of that role. The website does not keep these fields; we receive them in our mailbox.
They are used solely to answer your request and discuss a potential business relationship, on the legal basis of pre-contractual measures (Art. 6§1.b GDPR).
We retain them for the duration of the discussion plus the applicable statutory period for business correspondence (3 years after the last contact), then delete them.
To limit abuse, the site counts submissions per IP address using a fingerprint keyed with a secret, from which the address cannot be recovered. Fingerprints older than 24 hours are purged each time the form is submitted again.
Feature requests and bug reports
The Roadmap, Changelog and feedback links take you to our portal hosted by Featurebase. Information you enter there is processed on that third-party service, rather than through the tamis.app contact form. Read the Featurebase privacy policy before contributing. Do not post secrets or customer data in a public request.
3. Where your data goes
Our hosting infrastructure is located in the European Union. The site uses no third-party form-processing service.
We do not transfer personal data outside the EU. We do not share your data with any third party for commercial or advertising purposes.
There are none.
4. Your rights under the GDPR
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your personal data, and to object to its processing, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise these rights, write to contact@tamis.app.
We reply within one month, free of charge.
You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL if you believe your rights are not being respected.
5. Cookies and audience measurement
This site sets a single cookie, tamis_v, used only to measure its audience. There are no advertising cookies, no cookies from other sites and no third-party analytics
tools.
This cookie meets the conditions of the CNIL, the French data protection authority, for exemption from consent, which is why the site shows no banner.
tamis_v holds a randomly drawn identifier with no link to your identity. It is
set on your first visit for 390 days (under the 13-month maximum set by the CNIL) and is not extended when you
come back.
It tells us whether the same person returns to the site, without knowing who they are.
On each page view, your browser sends us this identifier, the page address, the domain of the site that referred you (without the rest of its address) and a screen category (phone, tablet or desktop). When you leave the page, it also sends the number of seconds the page stayed on screen and how far you scrolled it, as a percentage.
Without a stored cookie, your visits are not necessarily recognised from one page to the next; our server may also compute a fingerprint from your IP address, your browser and a random value that is replaced every day and then destroyed; it does not link your visits from one day to the next. Your IP address and browser are never recorded.
This data only produces statistics for us: which pages are read, by how many people, for how long, in what order, and how many come back. It is not shared, not combined with other data and not used to follow you on other sites.
It stays on our hosting in the European Union: monthly archives older than about 25 months are purged when new audience measurements arrive.
If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, nothing is measured.
You can also refuse measurement here: the button deletes tamis_v and sets a
tamis_optout cookie instead, which remembers your choice for 390 days.
Audience measurement needs JavaScript; without it, nothing is measured.
The sun/moon button in the navigation bar switches between light and dark mode. That choice is stored in your browser (local storage, key tamis-theme), is never sent to our server and is used for nothing else.
If you do not choose, the site simply follows your device setting.
6. Security
The site is served over HTTPS with TLS 1.3. Vulnerability reports concerning the marketing site or product are welcome at security@tamis.app; disclosure policy on the Security page, PGP key on request.
7. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we update the date at the top and indicate what changed. Substantial changes are highlighted at the top of the page for at least 30 days.
